Running Routes – Portsmouth

Based in the south-west of England, Portsmouth is considered home to the Royal Navy and one of the world’s most famous ports. It’s a city with a rich history and this is evident to any visitor. This port and coastal city boasts glorious beaches and the stunning Southsea Common, both very popular among the runners of Portsmouth.

Running down this beach, the athletes will encounter the South Parade Pier whilst pasting numerous adorable beach cafés and also the Southsea Model Village until they reach the turn in the road, where this should signal the halfway point. Here runners have the opportunity to have a second glance at all the wonders they passed on the way, picking up minor details they missed, this is that chance visitor get to notice the true charm of Portsmouth.
